On Friday, August 16, 2024, a boring contractor working in the City of Copperas Cove struck a 16" transmission main that provides water to Topsey WSC.  Copperas Cove water crews made repairs to the waterline and remained onsite until services were restored.

Water quality sample results have been obtained and the boil water notice has now been rescinded effective immediately.
